The sports patronage over the events is held by the Polish Kickboxing Association.

Division of participants into 3 levels of advancement

“WARSZAWSKA GRANDA” is a recurring sports event featuring K-1 rules fights.

The sports event is under the sports patronage of the Polish Kickboxing Association.

The competition will take place at “PTAK WARSAW EXPO” at Aleja Katowicka 62, 05-830 Nadarzyn, in Hall “C” on September 9, 2023

Zawodnicy podzieleni są na trzy klasy i wg "klasowego podziału zawodników" dobierani są następnie w pary.

  • A – COMPETITORS WITH PROFESSIONAL FIGHT AND PRO-AM.
    • Performing at competitions of the Polish Championship rank or aspiring to them. Having at least a dozen amateur performances. Class A are competitors presenting high technical training. In this class, a competitor from class B may appear under the responsibility of the coach.
  • B – MIDDLE CLASS COMPETITORS WHO WIN AT LEAST 4 AMATEUR FIGHTS
    • People without success in central competitions. Technically prepared for fight on an average level. In this class, a competitor from class C may appear under the responsibility of the coach.
  • C – BEGINNERS COMPETITORS AND RECREATIONAL TRAINERS. MAXIMUM 3 AMATEUR FIGHTS WIN.

The distance of all fights is 3 rounds of 2 minutes each.

  • THE COMPETITOR’S CLASS IS DETERMINED BY THE COACH IN THE REGISTRATION.
  • THE REGISTRATION FORM IS AVAILABLE FROM THE ORGANIZER:

  • CADET/JUNIOR CAN PARTICIPATE IN FIGHTS ONLY AFTER PRESENTING:
    1. WRITTEN CONSENT OF THE GUARDIANS FOR PARTICIPATION (available from the organizer via email)
    2. SPORTS CARD with current medical examinations signed by a sports medicine doctor.
  • SENIORS MUST HAVE A SPORTS CARD with a certificate from a SPORTS MEDICINE DOCTOR confirming their fitness to participate in kick-boxing competitions..
  • NNW should be purchased independently or from the organizer.
  • COMPETITORS MUST HAVE A PZKB COMPETITOR’S LICENSE (professional or amateur).

You should purchase LICENSES through the PZKB system before making the payment to the PZKB’s bank account.

  • All athletes and coaches from clubs not affiliated with the Polish Kickboxing Association (PZKB) are required to use the form available for download on the PZKB website. The form must be submitted ABSOLUTELY along with the other documents during registration..
  • EQUIPMENT:
    • The organizer provides gloves from the technical sponsor, which is StormCloud. All fighters will compete wearing 10 oz gloves.
    • In class A, the organizer also provides shin guards (elastic foam pads) to the fighters. In classes C and B, the fighters are required to wear full “thick” shin guards.
    • Coaches in the corner are required to wear sportswear, such as long sweatpants and a T-shirt or sweatshirt.
    • The fighters/clubs must have their own helmets (tournament color), groin protectors, chest protectors (for women), and shin guards (Class C and B).
  • COMPETITOR’S WEIGHT:
    • The weight categories specified in the regulations of the Polish Kickboxing Association for the K-1 Rules discipline apply.
    • There is no weight tolerance.
  •  Organizational matters such as fight schedule, weigh-in, timetable, etc. will be provided a maximum of 48 hours before the event.
  • The event will be secured by medical rescuers.
  • All participants will receive commemorative diplomas, and medals will be awarded to the winners.
