Brazilian jiu-jitsu is one of the many styles that grew out of Japanese jujutsu. Its history dates back to the beginning of the 20th century and began to develop in Brazil. The creators of the style are members of the Gracie family, who in the late nineties of the twentieth century spread their system around the world thanks to spectacular victories in fights.
